Nathan Morris, Esq.

A native of Las Vegas, Nevada, Nathan Morris’ practice is focused on white collar criminal defense and complex litigation.

Since entering the practice of law, Mr. Morris has served as a federal appellate magistrate judge, has litigated multi-million dollar class action suits, and has provided criminal defense in a variety of case settings.   Like most of the attorneys at Rainey Devine, Mr. Morris possesses experience in both large and small law firm settings, providing him with a broad knowledge base with which to serve his clients. A graduate of UCLA School of Law, Nathan is licensed to practice law in Nevada, California, and several tribal courts around the nation.

In 2005, the United States Department of Interior appointed Mr. Morris to the post of magistrate judge for the appellate court of the Te-Moek Tribe. However, Mr. Morris has spent most of his legal career working with one of the nation’s largest law firms, handling large scale class action litigation.

As an attorney with Rainey Devine, Mr. Morris heads the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense Department, offering aggressive defense and advocacy on behalf of individuals accused of such crimes as embezzlement, fraud, bribery, insider trading, forgery, criminal copyright-infringment and money laundering.

In addition to his work with Rainey Devine, Mr. Morris manages a separate litigation practice and serves as a board member for two non-profit organizations promoting cultural preservation and education in Indian Country and across the nation.
